And with Coach Bielema going for the touchdown on 4th down instead of the fieldgoal that would have pulled his team within 1 point in the fourth quarter, he's facing some of that criticism now. Nice to see Wausau native Andy Crooks go out on a good note with a touchdown. How was your Christmas? Mine was very nice. All the stuff I had planned happened on days we didn't get that nasty weather. The two highlights were the gift from my Godson. A Christmas tree ornament that said "I Love my Godfather." That one might have even made me a little misty. And the fact that on my Mom's side everyone in the family could make it to the Holiday get-together. That's the first time that's happened in years. Finally, aren't gift cards great! I spent all of mine the Saturday after Christmas.

Beyond the Point of No Return
To live without at least an open-ended sense of future (even if it's not an optimistic one) is to open one's self to a morass of conflicting impulses — from the anticipated thrill of a reckless plunge into hedonism to a profoundly demoralizing sense of hopelessness and a feeling that a lifelong guiding sense of purpose has suddenly evaporated. This slow-motion collapse of the planet leaves us with the bitterest kind of awakening. For parents of young children, it provokes the most intimate kind of despair. For people whose happiness derives from a fulfilling sense of achievement in their work, this realization feels like a sudden, violent mugging. For those who feel a debt to all those past generations who worked so hard to create this civilization we have enjoyed, it feels like the ultimate trashing of history and tradition.
Three Success Stories on Quicker, Cheaper Ways to Serve Customers
CompuCredit needed more timely access to information and better tools that its staff could use to make faster and more accurate decisions. Free Report from Keynote Systems 2007 Trends and Observations of the Mobile and Connected World examines how technologies, from the Web to the mobile phone, are specifically impacting key vertical industries, from financial services to new media. Campaign tinkering
Looking ahead to the next round of primaries, Hillary Clinton warned voters that she would come to their states and start tearing up if polls there showed they were not supporting her candidacy. Rudy Giuliani defended his decision not to campaign in the early primaries, saying they were mostly beauty contests that measured little more than candidates' likability. "Later on, once people are ready to vote for someone unlikable, I feel confident they'll choose me," he said. Huckabee supporters rejected feelers from the Romney campaign to switch their support, saying they "weren't born yesterday." However, they did concede they were created just 6,000 years ago. And in Massachusetts, residents said that Obama's inspirational message of nonpartisanship and "yes we can" reminded them of Governor Deval Patrick's own "together we can" campaign in 2006, and they looked forward to the day when Obama is president and every state in the country would have destination casinos.
