New evidence of Sweet's possible existence came to light in early December, though, when a $5,000 Rolex watch owned by Park was found in the possession of Philipsburg resident Ronnie Starr, who was charged Nov. 8 with receiving stolen property, according to court documents. The motion for bail, filed Jan. 2, came after Rogers's attorneys filed a petition in late December asking that the case be remanded back to Centre County Court. Centre County Chief Public Defender David Crowley said that although the appeal is likely to be granted, the state Superior Court could delay up to a year in entertaining the petition. "[Rogers] shouldn't have to sit in jail for up to a year," he said. Starr told police he bought the watch from a man he met in a bar, whom he remembered being called "B," according to a criminal complaint.

Rove's Travel Monkey went on to have a little visit later in the day on behalf of Rick "Man on Dog" Santorum. Olbermann had a piece last night showing Rudy pretending to know Asa in public and then pretending to know Bow Wow Santorum. I'm surprised Rudy wasn't handing out little chunks of the World Trade Center to the adoring Republican audiences. The fluff so fluffy it made my Cool-Whip seem heavy last night during dessert. I keep smacking myself upside the head trying to make sense of it all. Here in 2006, we're living in the most dangerous times in the last 60 years and yet from top to bottom our leaders are just a dollop of Cool-Whip. There is no substance to any of them.

It is astounding at the level Bainimarama is lowering himself to, the level of beasts. Just let the guy go, if there is no evidence against him. Otherwise charge him and put him in jail. Straightforward and simple. No lies, cover ups, false accusations and paranoia. Worried of Fiji (63 days and 23 hours ago) I hope all this passes over soon, and elections are held. We can the all show if we condone what Bainimara is doing to the country now. We support him in his efforts to take Fiji forward and rid Fiji of the corruption of the Fijian and Indian elite.
